In the first place, that the USA- with its record of helplessness in real nuclear policing- is so insistent upon Iran's culpability should immediately warn us off, and we should in fact learn what not to do in international relations by that country's example.<BR/> The wonder of the present campaign against Iran is not that the USA has learnt no caution or humility from its mistake about Iraq, but that there should still be takers (suckers) for another campaign of mendacity run along the same lines- of tall, widely discredited claims- which dashes our hopes of sanity in the rest of the world as well.<BR/> I would be deeply ashamed of being an Indian if our country disregards its old friendship with Iran, and the insult to our intelligence which is the USA's case against Iran, to fall in with the superpower's wishes at the next vote.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
